Cavalli

Roberto Cavalli was born in Florence Tuscany. Cavalli was the son of a tailor and his grandfather was an Impressionist artist, therefore Cavalli was exposed to creativity at an early age. I feel the influence of the art that surrounded Cavalli is very important when thinking about his inspirations for his work today. The attention to detail is something that I feel Cavalli has taken with him when he is designing

Cavalli is most widely known throughout the art and fashion worlds as a gifted leather designer. Through detailed and thorough research coupled with modern technology Cavalli unveiled the process of printing on light weight leather.

In 1972, Cavalli unveiled his first fashion line in his home town in Florence. His use of denim was seen as less than fashionable, since the fabric had not been previously part of the high fashion world. The first Cavalli show that opened the way for real success was held in Milan in 1994. The first sand blasted jeans were presented and became an instant hit.

I am assuming Cavalli has come to me to create a collection that inhabits his attention to detail however also a classic, more emotional collection, in which I can provide.
